1 AN ACT concerning procurement.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by
5 adding Section 20-62 as follows:
6 (30 ILCS 500/20-62 new)
7 Sec. 20-62. Subcontractor payment. Each contract shall
8 state that payment to a subcontractor for goods or services
9 supplied shall be made directly by the State to the
10 subcontractor.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12 becoming law.
