1 AN ACT concerning the Department on Aging.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by
5 adding Section 8.10 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 105/8.10 new)
7 Sec. 8.10. Prescription drug information. The Department
8 must establish, operate, and promote awareness of a statewide
9 toll-free telephone number to provide resource and referral
10 information on programs offered by pharmaceutical companies
11 that provide prescription drugs to Illinois senior citizens
12 without charge or at discounted rates.
