1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1657
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1657 on page 3,
3 line 30, by replacing "and" with "and"; and
4 on page 4, by replacing line 1 with the following:
5 "vehicle is located; and
6 15. Vehicles of union representatives, except that
7 the lights shall be lighted only while the vehicle is
8 within the limits of a construction project or while the
9 vehicle is parked alongside any roadway."; and
10 on page 5, by replacing lines 15 through 22 with the
11 following:
12 "(d) The use of a combination of amber and white
13 oscillating, rotating or flashing lights, whether lighted or
14 unlighted, is prohibited except motor vehicles or equipment
15 of the State of Illinois, local authorities, and contractors,
16 and union representatives may be so equipped; furthermore,
17 such lights shall not be lighted on vehicles of the State of
18 Illinois, local authorities, and contractors except while
19 such vehicles are engaged in highway maintenance or
20 construction operations within the limits of highway
21 construction projects, and shall not be lighted on the
22 vehicles of union representatives except when those vehicles
23 are within the limits of construction projects or are parked
