92_SB1502 LRB9202876ARsb 1 AN ACT concerning probate law. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Probate Act of 1975 is amended by 5 changing Section 11a-2 as follows: 6 (755 ILCS 5/11a-2) (from Ch. 110 1/2, par. 11a-2) 7 Sec. 11a-2. "Disabled person" defined.) "Disabled person" 8 means a person 18 years or older who (a) because of mental 9 deterioration or physical incapacity is not fully able to 10 manage his person or estate, or (b) is a person with mental 11 illness or a person with a developmental disability and who 12 because of his mental illness or developmental disability is 13 not fully able to manage his person or estate, or (c) because 14 of gambling, idleness, debauchery or excessive use of 15 intoxicants or drugs,sospends or wastes his estate so as to 16 expose himself or his family to want or suffering. 17 (Source: P.A. 88-380.)
