1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Highway Code by adding
2 Section 9-112.05.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by
6 adding Section 9-112.05 as follows:
7 (605 ILCS 5/9-112.05 new)
8 Sec. 9-112.05. Grade crossings of public highways with
9 railroads. No new grade crossings of public highways with
10 railroads may be established in the State of Illinois on or
11 after July 1, 2001.
12 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
13 1, 2001.
