1 AN ACT concerning State moneys.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Deposit of State Moneys Act is amended by
5 adding Section 15.1 as follows:
6 (15 ILCS 520/15.1 new)
7 Sec. 15.1. The State Treasurer must remove and must not
8 make any future deposit of State moneys or any other public
9 funds administered by him or her in any bank or savings and
10 loan institution that has outstanding loans, lines of credit,
11 or other evidences of indebtedness with any private or public
12 employer that (i) by order of the National Labor Relations
13 Board has been found to violate provisions of the National
14 Labor Relations Act and (ii) is the target of an active
15 unfair labor practices strike by a recognized collective
16 bargaining agent for employees of that private or public
17 employer.
18 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
19 becoming law.
