1 AN ACT concerning natural resources.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Department of Natural Resources Act is
5 amended by changing Section 80-15 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 801/80-15)
7 Sec. 80-15. Discontinued departments and offices.
8 (a) The Department of Energy and Natural Resources, the
9 Department of Mines and Minerals, the Abandoned Mined Lands
10 Reclamation Council, and the Division of Water Resources of
11 the Department of Transportation are hereby abolished.
12 (b) The following offices are abolished: the Director of
13 Energy and Natural Resources, the Director of Mines and
14 Minerals, and the Assistant Directors of Mines and Minerals.
