92_HR1179 LRB9218465HShs 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 3 Representatives are pleased to announce the retirement of 4 Charlotte Jackson, who completed over 39 years of 5 distinguished service with the Social Security Administration 6 located at 600 West Madison Street in Chicago; and 7 WHEREAS, Charlotte Jackson is the proud mother of 8 Michael, the sunshine of her life; and 9 WHEREAS, Charlotte Jackson received both a Bachelor of 10 Science Degree and Masters Degree in Public Administration 11 from DePaul University; and 12 WHEREAS, Charlotte worked in social service for over 39 13 years, holding various positions as a clerk, reviewer, 14 blocker, examiner, authorizer, and specialist; and 15 WHEREAS, Charlotte Jackson has been recognized for her 16 many accomplishments throughout her career; she has received 17 numerous monetary awards, certificates of appreciation, and 18 plaques; she was selected by the agency as a participant of 19 both the Upward Mobility and Stride Programs; and 20 WHEREAS, Charlotte, as an Employee Training and 21 Development Specialist, worked with employees region-wide, 22 assessed training needs, coordinated regional training 23 initiatives, and developed and implemented innovative 24 training policies; and 25 WHEREAS, Charlotte Jackson retired from Region V, 26 Employee Training and Development Section (ETDS), Harold 27 Washington Social Security Center (HWSSC) with over 39 years 28 of outstanding service where she made a difference in the 29 career path of numerous employees; therefore, be it 30 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE -2- LRB9218465HShs 1 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 2 we congratulate Charlotte Jackson on her retirement from the 3 Social Security Administration and note that her devotion to 4 assisting others has left an indelible impression; and be it 5 further 6 RESOLVED, That we trust Charlotte will take it easy and 7 thoroughly enjoy her richly deserved retirement years; and be 8 it further 9 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 10 presented to Charlotte Jackson with our respect and esteem.
