1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to
3 recognize significant milestones in the lives of the people
4 of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Katie Miller
6 of Waukegan is celebrating the 104th anniversary of her
7 birth; and
8 WHEREAS, Katie Miller was born on June 4, 1898; and
9 WHEREAS, Waukegan Township, in conjunction with the
10 Waukegan Exchange Club, will honor Katie Miller and six other
11 Centenarians at the "Celebration of Life" on July 9, 2002;
12 therefore, be it
13 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
14 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
15 we congratulate Katie Miller on the occasion of her 104th
16 birthday and extend to her our sincere best wishes for the
17 future; and be it further
18 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to Katie Miller as an expression of our respect and
20 esteem.
