1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Southern Illinois University School of Dental
3 Medicine has distinguished itself by the performance of its
4 students on national boards and placed itself in the national
5 elite of dental schools; and
6 WHEREAS, The dental students, like those in 52 other
7 schools across the country, take National Board Exams each
8 year; this year the seniors ranked fourth nationally; and
9 WHEREAS, This outstanding performance is a tribute to
10 hardwork and dedication of the faculty and students of
11 Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine;
12 therefore, be it
13 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
14 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
15 we congratulate the students, faculty, and staff of the
16 Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine on the
17 excellent job of representing themselves, the University, and
18 the State of Illinois; and be it further
19 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20 presented to Dr. Patrick Ferrillo, Dean of the Southern
21 Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, and to the
22 members of the Class of 2002.
