1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to express our sincere condolences to
4 the family and friends of Shirley Blackburn Petrisha, who
5 passed away on February 17, 2002; and
6 WHEREAS, Shirley Blackburn Petrisha was retired from the
7 Cook County Clerk's Office and was a former Trustee with the
8 Village of Burnham for 20 years; in addition, she was a
9 former board member with the Burnham School Board, a member
10 of the South and West Suburban Clerks Association, and a
11 member of the American Legion Post #330 Ladies Auxiliary; and
12 WHEREAS, The passing of Shirley Blackburn Petrisha will
13 be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her
14 daughter, Kim Petrisha; her granddaughter, Cheyanne; and her
15 many nieces and nephews; she was preceded in death by her
16 husband, John, her parents, Art (former Mayor of Burnham) and
17 Marion Blackburn, and her brothers, Archie Blackburn and
18 Harry (Jane Curry) Blackburn; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
21 we mourn, along with all who knew her, the death of Shirley
22 Blackburn Petrisha of Burnham, Illinois; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of Shirley Blackburn Petrisha with
25 our sincere condolences.
