92_HR0653 LRB9215885RHrh 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 3 Representatives offer our sincere appreciation to Mr. Joseph 4 Tecson, for over thirty years of public service; and 5 WHEREAS, Joseph Tecson received his Bachelor of Arts from 6 Ripon College in 1952 and a L.L.B. and J.D. from the 7 University of Wisconsin; and 8 WHEREAS, Joseph Tecson is admitted to practice before 9 the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois and 10 the U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit; and 11 WHEREAS, Joseph Tecson is a partner of Chuhak and Tecson, 12 P.C., a successful Chicago-based law firm; and 13 WHEREAS, He served as the Special Assistant Attorney 14 General of Illinois from 1969 until 1973; and 15 WHEREAS, In over thirty years of public service, Joseph 16 Tecson has served the state in a variety of positions; and 17 WHEREAS, Joseph Tecson, a respected lawyer in the legal 18 community in Illinois, has demonstrated within the profession 19 honesty, integrity, and unrivaled leadership; and 20 WHEREAS, Mr. Tecson has served as Special Counsel for 21 numerous Illinois Agencies including the following 22 Departments: Professional Regulation, Insurance, Public Aid, 23 and Public Health, and the Medical Disciplinary Board, all of 24 which demonstrate Joseph Tecson's extraordinary skill and 25 ability; and 26 WHEREAS, He has also provided his services for improving 27 transportation in Illinois through in his work with the 28 Regional Transportation Authority, State Toll Highway 29 Authority and Metra; and -2- LRB9215885RHrh 1 WHEREAS, As a public servant, he has been a member of the 2 Board of Trustees for the Lincoln Commission, Lincoln Academy 3 of Illinois, and Brookfield Zoo; and 4 WHEREAS, We recognize the efforts of Joseph Tescon, whose 5 public service has helped improve various aspects of 6 Illinois; and 7 WHEREAS, Over thirty years of public service is a source 8 of inspiration to the entire community and State; therefore, 9 be it 10 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY- 11 SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we do 12 hereby offer our congratulations to Joseph Tescon for his 13 more than 30 years of public service; and be it further 14 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 15 presented to Joseph Tescon and his family as an expression 16 of our appreciation for his public service to the State.
