1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to honor the milestones in high
4 school sports in the State of Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, The 7th grade Lady Bullpups Volleyball team from
6 Kansas Unit #3 School has had an outstanding year; they were
7 undefeated at home and in both the Little Eastern Illini
8 Conference and the East Okaw Conference tournaments; and they
9 finished the season with a 25-0 record; and
10 WHEREAS, The Lady Bullpups were Regional Champions,
11 Sectional Champions, and State Champions; and
12 WHEREAS, The Kansas Unit #3 School's 7th grade State
13 Tournament Volleyball team consists of Megan Bartlett, Hayley
14 Cottie, Marlana Dyer, Jenni Ellington, Malissa Hess, Mandi
15 Honnold, Tabitha Honnold, Chelsey Nichols, Taylor Robinson,
16 Angela Sloat, Taylor Sloat, Whitney Washburn, and Shantha
17 Wheeler; the other members of the squad include Cherisa
18 Fluckey, Kelly Huston, Cassie Morgan, Heather Simons, and
19 Misty Shoot; and
20 WHEREAS, The 7th grade Lady Bullpups Volleyball team is
21 coached by Brenda Coffey; the assistant coach is Leslie
22 Houia; the scorebook keeper is Kim Morrisey; and the managers
23 are Jessica Rhoden, Korey Simpson, and Stephanie Honnold;
24 therefore be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
26 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
27 we congratulate the Kansas Unit #3 School's 7th grade
28 Volleyball Team on their outstanding season and State
29 championship; and be it further
30 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
31 presented to the Principal of the Kansas Unit #3 Schools and
