1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to
3 recognize significant milestones in the lives of the people
4 of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Mary Margaret
6 Casey Montroy of Chicago, Illinois is celebrating the 96th
7 anniversary of her birth; and
8 WHEREAS, Mary Margaret Casey Montroy was born March 25,
9 1905, to Eugene and Maggie Casey; and
10 WHEREAS, Mary Margaret Casey Montroy married John
11 Theodore Montroy in South Bend, Indiana, on May 25, 1928, at
12 the University of Notre Dame; and
13 WHEREAS, Mary Margaret Casey Montroy is the proud mother
14 of four children, Patrick, Mary Constance, Margaret, and
15 Sheila; and is the grandmother of 19 grandchildren, and 29
16 great-grandchildren; and
17 WHEREAS, Mary Margaret Casey Montroy is an ardent fan of
18 Notre Dame, Mayor Daley, and the Democratic Party; therefore,
19 be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
21 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
22 we congratulate Mary Margaret Casey Montroy on the occasion
23 of her birthday and extend to her our sincere best wishes for
24 the future; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to Mary Margaret Casey Montroy as an expression of
27 our respect and esteem.
