92_HR0136 LRB9208475RHrh 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 3 Representatives wish to express their sincere condolences to 4 the family and friends of Ronald John Anderson, who passed 5 away on March 11, 2001; and 6 WHEREAS, Ronald John Anderson was born on November 5, 7 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Russell C. and Olga 8 Anderson; and 9 WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson graduated from Lane Tech High 10 School in 1956; he served in the United States Air Force from 11 1956 to 1961; while stationed in Alaska, he had the privilege 12 of voting for its statehood; and 13 WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson was a printer and worked for his 14 family-owned and operated business, the Advisor Network in 15 Antioch; and 16 WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson was a member of the Lions Club, the 17 Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #525, and St. Peter Church of 18 Antioch; he loved fishing and golf and was an avid train 19 buff; Mr. Anderson and his father-in-law were members of the 20 chain crew for the Chicago Bears for fifteen years; and 21 WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson was a strong supporter of the 22 Antioch Rescue Squad, the Antioch Mental Health Association, 23 the Antioch Rotary Club, and many other charities; and 24 WHEREAS, The passing of Ronald John Anderson will be 25 deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his 26 wife, Carol Ann; his children, Kim (husband, Bob) Schneider, 27 Greg (wife, Tonia) Anderson, and Jenny (husband, Kris) 28 Shepard; his grandchildren, Hilary Ann and Brandon Joseph 29 Schneider, Michael Hanaford and Madison Ann Shepard, and 30 Devin Ronald Anderson; his step grandson, Timothy Jon Olson; 31 his father-in-law, Hillard Joseph Tobieski; his brother, -2- LRB9208475RHrh 1 Russell C. Anderson, Jr.; and his sisters, Nancy and 2 Christine Anderson; therefore, be it 3 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 4 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 5 we mourn, along with all who knew him, the death of Ronald 6 John Anderson of Antioch, Illinois; and be it further 7 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 8 presented to the family of Ronald John Anderson with our 9 sincere condolences.
