1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to
3 recognize significant milestones in the lives of the people
4 of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Bishop Larry
6 D. Trotter of Chicago is celebrating the forty-fourth
7 anniversary of his birth; and
8 WHEREAS, Bishop Larry D. Trotter accepted his call to
9 ministry in 1974; in 1981, he was called to pastor the Sweet
10 Holy Spirit Church; under his leadership the church
11 membership has grown from 22 members to over 5,000 members;
12 and
13 WHEREAS, Bishop Trotter is married to the lovely Lady
14 Celeste Trotter; they have five children, Laurice, Javon,
15 Brandi, Larry II, and LaKheem; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
18 we congratulate Bishop Larry D. Trotter on the occasion of
19 his forty-fourth birthday and extend to Bishop Larry D.
20 Trotter our sincere best wishes for the future; and be it
21 further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to Bishop Larry D. Trotter as an expression of our
24 respect and esteem.
