1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 6306
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 6306 on page 8,
3 below line 32, by inserting the following:
4 "Section 35. In addition to all other amounts
5 appropriated for these purposes, the amount of $7,762,533, or
6 so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated
7 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal
8 Justice Information Authority for a grant to the Cook County
9 Treasurer for the Cook County State's Attorney, Criminal
10 Appeals Division, for the hiring of additional personnel, for
11 the purchase of office supplies and office equipment, and for
12 the rental of office space to enable the Cook County State's
13 Attorney's Office to respond to appellate briefs filed on
14 behalf of criminal defendants in the State of Illinois.".
