1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5908
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 5908 on page 1 by
3 replacing lines 20 through 27 with the following:
4 "Sec. 356z.2. Prescription drug coverage.
5 (a) A group or individual policy of accident and health
6 insurance or a managed care plan amended, delivered, issued,
7 or renewed after the effective date of this amendatory Act of
8 the 92nd General Assembly that provides coverage for
9 prescribed drugs may not deny authorization of the dispensing
10 or filling of multiple individual covered prescriptions on a
11 single visit to a pharmacy.
12 (b) Nothing in this Section affects any copayments,
13 deductions, or coinsurance.".
