92_HB5268 LRB9211661LDcd 1 AN ACT in relation to the regulation of professions. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private 5 Security, and Locksmith Act of 1993 is amended by changing 6 Section 135 as follows: 7 (225 ILCS 446/135) 8 (Section scheduled to be repealed on December 31, 2003) 9 Sec. 135. Temporary suspension. The Director may 10 temporarily suspend a licenselicenseewithout a hearing, 11 simultaneously with the initiation of proceedings for a 12 hearing provided for in Section 130 of this Act, if the 13 Director finds that evidence in his or her possession 14 indicates that a licensee's continuation in practice would 15 constitute an imminent danger to the public. If the Director 16 temporarily suspends the license of a licensee without a 17 hearing, a hearing by the Board shall be held within 30 days 18 after the suspension has occurred. 19 (Source: P.A. 88-363.)
