 1        AN ACT concerning family law.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Uniform Interstate Family Support Act  is
 5    amended by changing Section 209 as follows:

 6        (750 ILCS 22/209)
 7        Sec.  209.   Credit  for payments.  Amounts collected and
 8    credited for a particular period under pursuant to a  support
 9    order  issued by a tribunal of another state must be credited
10    against the amounts accruing or accrued for the  same  period
11    under a support order issued by the tribunal of this State.
