1 AN ACT concerning real property.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Conveyances Act is amended by changing
5 Section 30 as follows:
6 (765 ILCS 5/30) (from Ch. 30, par. 29)
7 Sec. 30. All deeds, mortgages and other instruments of
8 writing that which are authorized to be recorded, shall take
9 effect and be in force from and after the time of filing the
10 same for record, and not before, as to all creditors and
11 subsequent purchasers, without notice; and all such deeds and
12 title papers shall be adjudged void as to all such creditors
13 and subsequent purchasers, without notice, until the same
14 shall be filed for record.
