92_HB3748 LRB9211206ACcd 1 AN ACT concerning the regulation of professions. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private 5 Security, and Locksmith Act of 1993 is amended by changing 6 Section 10 as follows: 7 (225 ILCS 446/10) 8 Sec. 10. Legislative intent. The intent of the General 9 Assembly in enacting this statute is to regulate persons and 10 businesses licensed under this Act for the protection of the 11 public. These practices are founddeclaredto be practices 12 affecting the public health, safety, and welfare and subject 13 to State regulation.
