1 AN ACT regarding schools.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The School Construction Law is amended by
5 changing Section 5-50 as follows:
6 (105 ILCS 230/5-50)
7 Sec. 5-50. Referendum requirements. After the State
8 Board of Education has approved all or part of a school
9 district's application and issued a grant entitlement for a
10 school construction project grant, the district shall submit
11 the project or the financing of the project to a referendum
12 when such referendum is required by law.
