92_HB3074 LRB9202528TAtmA 1 AN ACT concerning State government. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Department of Commerce and Community 5 Affairs Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is 6 amended by changing Section 605-115 as follows: 7 (20 ILCS 605/605-115) (was 20 ILCS 605/46.36) 8 Sec. 605-115. Transfer from State Housing Board and 9 Department of Business and Economic Development. In addition 10 to the duties and the powers imposed elsewhere in the Civil 11 Administrative Code of Illinois, the Department has the 12 following powers: 13 (1) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties 14 vested by law in the State Housing Board under the 15 Housing Authorities Act. 16 (2) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties 17 vested by law in the State Housing Board under the 18 Housing Cooperation Law. 19 (3) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties 20 vested by law in the State Housing Board under the 21 Housing Development and Construction Act. 22 (4) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties 23 vested by law in the State Housing Board under the 24 Blighted Areas Redevelopment Act of 1947. 25 (5) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties 26 vested by law in the State Housing Board under the 27 Blighted Vacant Areas Development Act of 1949. 28 (6) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties 29 vested by law in the State Housing Board under the Urban 30 Community Conservation Act. 31 (7) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties -2- LRB9202528TAtmA 1 vested by law in the State Housing Board under the Urban 2 Renewal Consolidation Act of 1961. 3 (8) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties 4 vested by law in the State Housing Board under the 5 Redevelopment Project Rehousing Act. 6 (9) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties 7 vested by law in the State Housing Board under the State 8 Housing Act. 9 (10) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties 10 vested by law in the State Housing Board under the 11 Illinois Housing Development Act. 12 (11) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties 13 which had been vested by law in the Department of 14 Business and Economic Development under Sections 46.7 15 (renumbered; now Section 605-200 of this Law; 20 ILCS 16 605/605-200), 46.8 (repealed), 46.23 (repealed), and 47.1 17 (repealed) of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois, 18 previous to August 29, 1969. 19 (12) To exercise the rights, powers, and duties 20 which have been vested by law in the State Housing Board 21 under Section 6b-3 of the State Finance Act. 22 The Department shall render assistance and advice to 23 and take action affecting local governments only upon request 24 of a local government, except as otherwise provided by the 25 powers and duties transferred to the Department by this 26 Section. 27 (Source: P.A. 91-239, eff. 1-1-00.)
