1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3065
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3065 as follows:
3 on page 3, by replacing line 4 with the following:
4 "traffic accidents that occurred during nighttime hours, for
5 which the driver has been found to be at fault, during the 12
6 months before he or she applied for the special restricted
7 license."; and
8 on page 3, by replacing line 12 with the following:
9 "traffic accidents that occurred during nighttime hours, for
10 which the driver has been found to be at fault, during the 12
11 months before he or she applied for the special restricted
12 license.
13 (h) Any driver issued a special restricted license as
14 defined in subsection (g) whose privilege to drive during
15 nighttime hours has been suspended due to an accident
16 occurring during nighttime hours may request a hearing as
17 provided in Section 2-118 of this Code to contest that
18 suspension. If it is determined that the accident for which
19 the driver was at fault was not influenced by the driver's
20 use of vision aid arrangements other than standard eyeglasses
21 or contact lenses, the Secretary may reinstate that driver's
22 privilege to drive during nighttime hours.".
