1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The amount of $5,000,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the State
6 Board of Education for a grant to the East St. Louis Library
7 Board to renovate the East St. Louis Public Library at the
8 corner of 9th and State in East St. Louis to house the
9 Katherine Dunham Academy.
10 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
11 July 1, 2001.
