1 AN ACT in relation to utilities.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by
5 changing Section 9-211 as follows:
6 (220 ILCS 5/9-211) (from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 9-211)
7 Sec. 9-211. Investment; inclusion in rate base. The
8 Commission, in any determination of rates or charges, shall
9 include in a utility's rate base only the value of the such
10 investment that which is both prudently incurred and used and
11 useful in providing service to public utility customers.
