1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 ARTICLE 1
5 Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
8 Horse Racing Fund for the ordinary and contingent expenses of
9 the Illinois Racing Board:

2 Section 2. The sum of $10,000,000, or so much thereof as
3 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Horse Racing
4 Equity Fund to the Illinois Racing Board for grants pursuant
5 to the Illinois Racing Act of 1975, Section 54, Subparagraph
6 b(1).
7 Section 3. The sum of $10,000,000, or so much thereof as
8 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Horse Racing
9 Equity Fund to the Illinois Racing Board for grants pursuant
10 to the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975, Section 54,
11 Subparagraph b(2).
12 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
13 July 1, 2001.
