1 AN ACT concerning education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section
5 2-3.109b as follows:
6 (105 ILCS 5/2-3.109b new)
7 Sec. 2-3.109b. Area vocational center grant eligibility.
8 An area vocational center created by joint agreement between
9 school districts may apply for and be eligible to receive any
10 grant for capital improvements or technology that is
11 administered by the State Board of Education and that is
12 available for school districts.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14 becoming law.
