1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2111
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2111 on page 1,
3 line 5, after "by", by inserting "adding Section 77 and"; and
4 on page 1, immediately below line 5, by inserting the
5 following:
6 "(110 ILCS 947/77 new)
7 Sec. 77. Illinois Student Assistance Commission
8 Contracts and Grants Fund.
9 (a) The Illinois Student Assistance Commission Contracts
10 and Grants Fund is created as a special fund in the State
11 treasury. All gifts, grants, or donations of money received
12 by the Commission must be deposited into this Fund.
13 (b) Moneys in the Fund may be used by the Commission,
14 subject to appropriation, for support of the Commission's
15 student assistance outreach activities."; and
16 on page 1, immediately below line 28, by inserting the
17 following:
18 "Section 95. The State Finance Act is amended by adding
19 Section 5.545 as follows:
20 (30 ILCS 105/5.545 new)

1 Sec. 5.545. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission
2 Contracts and Grants Fund."; and
3 on page 1, line 30, after "law", by inserting the following:
4 ", except that the provisions adding Section 77 of the Higher
5 Education Student Assistance Act and Section 5.545 of the
6 State Finance Act take effect on July 1, 2001".
