1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1961
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1961 as follows:
3 on page 9, line 1, by inserting "if funding has been provided
4 by federal, local or private entities" after "Corrections";
5 and
6 on page 12, by replacing lines 12 through 15 with the
7 following:
8 "(o) A county with more than 3,000,000 inhabitants is
9 authorized to apply for funding from federal, local or
10 private entities to create a Residential and Treatment
11 Program for Women. This sentencing option may not go into
12 effect until the funding is secured for the program and the
13 program has been established.".
