1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The following sums, or so much thereof as may
5 be necessary, respectively, are appropriated from the
6 General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for
7 the Mentally Healthy Kids Intiative for Fiscal Year 2002:
8 Increased services to
9 children and adolescents........................ $12,500,000
10 Respite services for
11 children and adolescents........................ 2,500,000
12 Mental Health services for juveniles in
13 the justice system.............................. 1,000,000
14 Medication for children......................... 2,000,000
15 Total........................................... $18,000,000
16 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
17 July 1, 2001.
