Amend House Bill 1695 on page 1, in 3 line 5, by changing "Section 19" to "Sections 11 and 19"; and 4 on page 1, below line 5, by inserting the following: 5 "(225 ILCS 225/11) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 116.311) 6 Sec. 11. Notice of violation. Whenever the Department 7 determines that there are reasonable grounds to believe that 8 there has been violation of any provision of this Act or the 9 rules and regulations issued under this Act, the Department 10 shall give notice of such alleged violationto the person to11whom the license was issued,as herein provided. Such notice 12 shall: 13 (a) be in writing; 14 (b) include a statement of the reasons for the 15 issuance of the notice; 16 (c) allow reasonable time as established by rule 17determined by the Departmentfor the performance of any 18 act it requires; 19 (d) be served upon the owner, operator or licensee 20 as the case may require; provided that such notice or 21 order shall be deemed to have been properly served upon 22 such owner, operator or licensee when a copy thereof has -2- LRB9202976EGfgam02 1 been sent by registered or certified mail to his last 2 known address as furnished to the Department; or, when he 3 has been served with such notice by any other method 4 authorized by the laws of this State; and 5 (e) contain an outline of remedial action, which is 6 required to effect compliance with this Act and the rules 7 and regulations issued under this Act. 8 (Source: P.A. 78-812.)".
