1 AN ACT concerning perfusionists.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Perfusionist Practice Act is amended by
5 changing Section 15 as follows:
6 (225 ILCS 125/15)
7 Sec. 15. Powers and duties of the Department.
8 (a) The Department must shall exercise the powers and
9 duties prescribed by the Civil Administrative Code of
10 Illinois for the administration of licensing Acts and must
11 shall exercise any other powers and duties necessary for
12 effectuating the purposes of this Act.
13 (b) The Department may adopt rules consistent with the
14 provisions of this Act for its administration and enforcement
15 and may prescribe forms that shall be issued in connection
16 with this Act. The rules may include but are not limited to
17 standards and criteria for licensure, professional conduct,
18 and discipline.
