1 AN ACT respecting higher education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The University of Illinois Construction
5 Financing Act is amended by changing Section 2 as follow:
6 (110 ILCS 415/2) (from Ch. 144, par. 69)
7 Sec. 2. The powers conferred by this Act shall be in
8 addition and supplemental to, and not in substitution for,
9 the powers conferred by any other law, and may be exercised
10 in conjunction with the such powers conferred by other laws,
11 and no restrictions or limitations upon the powers of the
12 Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois contained in
13 Section 1 of this Act shall be applicable in the case of any
14 leases, contracts or undertakings entered into by such Board
15 relating to the construction, use or operation of any
16 building erected by the University of Illinois Building
17 Commission under and pursuant to any Act creating such a
18 Commission.
