1 AN ACT concerning educational institutions.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The University of Illinois Exercise of
5 Functions and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of
6 Illinois is amended by changing Section 3000-5 as follows:
7 (110 ILCS 355/3000-5) (was 110 ILCS 355/62)
8 Sec. 3000-5. Retention of functions and duties by
9 University of Illinois. Unless otherwise provided by law, the
10 functions and duties formerly exercised by the State
11 entomologist, the State laboratory of natural history, the
12 State water survey, and the State geological survey and
13 vested in the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and
14 the functions and duties of the Waste Management and Research
15 Center and its Hazardous Materials Laboratory as authorized
16 by the Hazardous Waste Technology Exchange Service Act shall
17 continue to be exercised at the University of Illinois in
18 buildings and places provided by the trustees of the
19 University.
