1 AN ACT with regard to higher education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Consortium for Educational
5 Opportunity Act is amended by changing Section 9 as follows:
6 (110 ILCS 930/9) (from Ch. 144, par. 2309)
7 Sec. 9. Terms of award. After a person has been
8 accepted into the ICEOP, that person the individual shall be
9 eligible for up to a $10,000 award annually which shall be
10 renewable for up to an additional 3 years provided that he or
11 she makes satisfactory progress toward completing his or her
12 degree.
