1 AN ACT concerning telecommunications.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by
5 changing Section 13-214 as follows:
6 (220 ILCS 5/13-214) (from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 13-214)
7 (Section scheduled to be repealed on July 1, 2001)
8 Sec. 13-214. Mobile services.
9 (a) "Public mobile services" means air-to-ground radio
10 telephone services, cellular radio telecommunications
11 services, offshore radio, rural radio service, public land
12 mobile telephone service and other common carrier radio
13 communications services.
14 (b) "Private radio services" means private land mobile
15 radio services and other communications services
16 characterized by the Commission as private radio services.
