92_HB1048eng HB1048 Engrossed LRB9207050NTsb 1 AN ACT concerning schools. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing 5 Section 3-14.25 and adding Section 34-18.22 as follows: 6 (105 ILCS 5/3-14.25) (from Ch. 122, par. 3-14.25) 7 Sec. 3-14.25. Unfilled teaching positions list. To 8 maintain, and make available to the public during regular 9 business hours, a list of unfilled teaching positions within 10 the region. The most current version of the list must be 11 posted on the regional office of education's Internet web 12 site. If the regional office of education does not have an 13 Internet web site, the regional superintendent of schools 14 must make the list available to the State Board of Education 15 and the State Board of Education must post the list on the 16 State Board of Education's Internet web site. The State 17 Board of Education's Internet web site must provide a link to 18 each regional office of education's list. 19 (Source: P.A. 83-503.) 20 (105 ILCS 5/34-18.22 new) 21 Sec. 34-18.22. Unfilled teaching positions list. The 22 school district must post a current list of all unfilled 23 teaching positions in the district on its Internet web site. 24 The State Board of Education's Internet web site must provide 25 a link to this list. 26 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on 27 July 1, 2001.
