1 An Act concerning health care facilities.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Child Care Act of 1969 is amended by
5 adding Section 17.5 as follows:
6 (225 ILCS 10/17.5 new)
7 Sec. 17.5. Zoning. Nothing in this Act or the rules
8 adopted under this Act preempts or limits any zoning powers
9 of units of local government.
10 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
11 becoming law.
