1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The sum of $200,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated, in addition to
6 any other amount that is appropriated for the purpose, from
7 the Road Fund to the Department of Transportation for the
8 purpose of paying all costs associated with employing
9 additional vehicle weight inspectors so that every vehicle
10 weigh station in the State may be kept open at least 5 days
11 and 40 hours per week.
12 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
13 1, 2001.
