1 AN ACT in relation to environmental matters.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended
5 by changing Section 25b-2 as follows:
6 (415 ILCS 5/25b-2) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1025b-2)
7 Sec. 25b-2. Toxic chemical release forms.
8 (a) Facilities which are required to file toxic chemical
9 release forms with the State pursuant to Section 313 of the
10 federal Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of
11 1986 shall file such forms with the Illinois Environmental
12 Protection Agency.
13 (b) The Agency shall make toxic chemical release forms
14 available to the public for inspection and copying during
15 regular business hours and, upon written request, shall send
16 copies of such forms by mail to any resident of the State.
