 1        AN ACT to amend the Firearm  Owners  Identification  Card
 2    Act by adding Section 13.3.

 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section 5.  The Firearm Owners Identification Card Act is
 6    amended by adding Section 13.3 as follows:

 7        (430 ILCS 65/13.3 new)
 8        Sec. 13.3.   Municipal  ordinance  submission.  Within  6
 9    months after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the
10    92nd  General Assembly, every municipality must submit to the
11    Department of State Police a copy of every ordinance  adopted
12    by   the   municipality   that   regulates  the  acquisition,
13    possession,  sale,  or  transfer  of  firearms   within   the
14    municipality  and must submit, 30 days after adoption,  every
15    such  ordinance  adopted  after  its  initial  submission  of
16    ordinances under  this  Section.   The  Department  of  State
17    Police  shall  compile these ordinances and publish them in a
18    form available  to  the  public  free  of  charge  and  shall
19    periodically  update  this  compilation  of  ordinances  in a
20    manner prescribed by the Director of State Police.

21        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
22    becoming law.
