1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 282
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 282 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 7 through 16 with the following:
4 "Sec. 4.1. Waukegan, North Chicago, and Zion Enterprise
5 Zone. Subject to the approval of the Director of Commerce
6 and Community Affairs, the corporate authorities of Waukegan,
7 North Chicago, and Zion may by ordinance designate any
8 territory that is located within the territorial jurisdiction
9 of Waukegan, North Chicago, and Zion and that meets the
10 requirements of Section 4 of this Act as an enterprise zone
11 having all of the rights and privileges of any other
12 enterprise zone created under this Act. An enterprise zone
13 created under this Section shall not be counted in
14 determining the number of enterprise zones to be created in
15 any year under Section 5.3 of this Act.".
