Increases the additional exemption for the taxpayer or spouse who has attained the age of 65 or is blind by the end of the taxable year to $1,650 for taxable year 2000 and $2,000 for taxable year 2001 and thereafter (now $1,000). Exempts the provisions from the sunset requirements. Effective immediately.
