Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Downstate  Police  Article  of  the  Pension  Code  to      
   compound  the  automatic  annual  increase  in  disability  retirement      
   pension.   Amends  the  State  Mandates  Act to require implementation      
   without reimbursement.  Effective immediately.                              
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          Increase in accrued liability                     $15.3 million      
          Increase in total annual cost (0.27% of payroll)  $ 1.4 million
