ST EMPLOYEE-PROHIBIT CONTRIBTN                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the State Employees  Political  Activities  Act.  Provides      
   that  except  for  certain  provisions,  the  Act applies to all State      
   employees  of  the  legislative,  executive,  and  judicial  branches.      
   Provides that no employee may solicit contributions on behalf  of  any      
   person for whom the employee works. Provides that no employee may make      
   contributions  to  a person for whom the employee works. Provides that      
   violations of the Act must be reported to (i) the Director or head  of      
   the  employee's agency and (ii) the Division of Internal Investigation      
   of the Department of State  Police.  Makes  other  changes.  Effective      
   immediately.
