MEDICAID AFTER GRANT ENDS                                                  

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Medicaid Article of the  Public  Aid  Code.   Provides      
   that  persons who become ineligible for TANF or General Assistance due      
   to employment earnings remain eligible for medical assistance  for  up      
   to  24  (now  12) months following termination of their financial aid.      
   Effective immediately.
