$OCE-DEAF HEARING COMMISSION                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Makes appropriations to the Deaf and Hard of  Hearing  Commission      
   for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1999.                                 
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Deletes everything. Appropriates $300,000 to the Deaf and Hard of      
   Hearing Commission from the GRF for start-up expenses. Effective July       
   1, 1999.                                                                    
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                
        Increases the appropriation to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing            
   Commission to  $511,100 from GRF for start-up expenses.                     
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Deletes the effective date.                                            
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                 
        Adds effective date July 1, 1999.
