METHANE-ELECTRIC END JULY 1                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Public Utilities Act.  Provides  that  after  July  1,      
   1999  the  Commerce  Commission  may  not  make  determinations that a      
   facility  qualifies  as  a  qualified  solid  waste  energy  facility.      
   Effective immediately.
